The channel for the river is just behind the grain cart, and from that picture you probaly don't realize the river is a good 300ft wide?? and the picture was taken on a dry year.... We've had years if you didn't get across when you could....the crop would be gone by spring(flooding)
Some guys sure seem to be getting their shorts in a bunch over a bunch of ASSUMPTIONS.....
I wish I'd seen these pics up yesterday when I talked to a member of the party in question...... funny nobody brought out the fact he's a good sized operation.....
PS...River has a slate bottom, she ain't going to sink
