IN | That is what one city guy always says to me at church after harvest. I have to bite my tongue.
I just say "One guy is hauling grain every day as fast as he can go. Another is feeding cattle most of the day. I calved heifers in Dec. and am starting to calve a 100 cows in Jan and Feb. We try to squeeze getting equipment ready for spring in there somewhere. Plus about a dozen other projects, fence rows, etc. along the way. I can't wait to start farming in April so I can get in a tractor and get rested up."
He just looks at me with a blank look on his face. | |

How do you explain what you do to a non farmer
