I agree but the disease doesn't have to be visual to cost you bean yield, its a gradual thing that you can't see. We had 64 bushel beans on an old cow pasture in 2007, same variety planted same day in another field was murdered by SDS and made in the thirties. Best bean field last year came out of 20 years CRP and was planted July 2nd. I really think that is the reason why the plant breeders say the potential of beans is going up but we are still growing the yields our grandpas did 30 years ago, they had dirt without bean history. I love continuous corn but it sure will be a struggle to get the tillage and fertilizer done for that to work in 2010.
