IF the Controller runs for too long it will actually burn out the Gyro's if it keeps getting intermitant power .. its a great 995.00 Fix if not caught in time .. Wire the Controller to keyed or live power with a switch, If you don't get the lighter plug changed it will actually melt as well and i hasve seen 2 smoke. My advice .. Hard Wire it to a Amp Plug in the accessory Panel to a On of Switch.
