| You probably saw our combine/cart sitting in a cornfield right off the interstate then north of champaign lol. Conditions we're excellent last week, have deteriorated quite a bit over the weekend, and its extremely muddy right now. Graincart is useless so we've been hauling end to end with the combine since its got the floaters.
Fall tillage will happen sometime...just gotta run to the dealership to stock up on disc blades because we're going to shatter quite a few this winter before the season is over. Can't run corn on corn rotations without primary tillage, or atleast not very good ones when the end rows are compacted to no end. C'mon 2-3weeks of sunshine!! | |
