Subject: Re: dying beans

SE MN Still in Pothole Country
In about 1985 I dried beans in a two column Behlen 380. If memory serves I ran it about 110 degrees. My thinking was some falls they see 90 degrees in the pod and 20 degrees more seemed reasonable. Cannot remember how I set it for dumps per hour. Now we have a Behlen 700 that has not been worked too hard the last several years drying corn. Now the fields are so wet that if they ever dry out the beans might be dry. Ha Ha Good thing is it does not take too much gas to dry soybeans.
