West Central Wisconsin | We like to make this in the winter on weekends when my wife is home. Crock pot breakfast. Put the following ingredients into crock pot at bed-time, set at low, and have this hot meal ready to eat the next morning.
1 cup steel cut oats, also called grotes
4 cups water
1/2 cup of half & half
1/4 cup of dried or fresh fruit or nuts,(raisins, figs, cranberries) optional. Enjoy! | |
