WCIL | Our local HS had H1N1 flu mist vaccinations given yesterday. I was shocked that there were that many available. My part time help is a Sr there. He said they even showed up with a few shots. The kids with asthma needed the shots of course. I thought those shots were only available for those who really needed shots. I beginning to wonder if maybe there are more vaccinations available than they are letting the press know.
The Co. Health Dept. says that the Doctors' offices are reporting a lot of influenza A in our area. And they are pretty much saying that influenza in H1N1. Last week seemed to be the bigger week for sick kids.
I know this may sound, kind of mean spirited, but... the football team is 8-1 (after tonight) and the volleyball team is 33-0. I wonder just how hard our district pushed for the vaccinations with the post season starting next week. | |
