East Kansas, DeSoto | On our trip to Alaska a few years back in a motorhome we stopped at a campground where there was also cabins. A bear was trying to get in the cabin and the husband put his wife up on the roof while he dashed for help across a small stream in a boat. When help came back she was a goner. This news doesn't travel as they do not want to scare away the tourists. We moved on. Gifford | |
