Look at the European sprayers, for instance.  There is no durability in them at all.  They all appear to be built to run at 5 mph on an airstrip.  Put them in NA field conditions and they self destruct.

Spraying in Europe runs on many different fundamentals than we do over here. That's why, as you noted, they are built very light.
