| depends. You're probably talking about 'near infrared' or 'mid infrared'. Big differences in prices and technology. You must also be talking aerial photo but you did not say. There are a number of companies.
Infrared on bare ground raises my curiosity. The only ag use I know of infrared of is to see if crops have disease or heat or water stress.
Some people use walk around infrared cameras on some crops.
I've been toying with doing infrared from small radio controled air planes but none of the farmers around here (N Cal) are very interested.
I'd do some googling on this topic if I was you. I'd also check with the Univs. doing precision ag.
