Subject: RE: Canadian Thanksgiving

I saw this recipe somewhere, can't remember where so I can go back and look, but anyway it says to take some boneless pork chops and put them in a crockpot, poor 1 can of root beer over the chops, cover and cook until done. After they are cooked, pour off the root beer, shred the meat, and add a bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce and cook for another hour. Serve on buns.

The purpose of the root beer is to make the meat sweet. I haven't tried this recipe but I plan to sometime.
