Rivers, MB
Herman,

Yes, it is a pile of wheat. Ran out of space. Didn't want to give away good wheat and lose bargaining power with the later wheat. As long as the pile goes next week before we get snow, I think the gamble will pay off. Managed to get a #1 for everything.

We have JD combines so the truckers can't ever be slackers!!! Storage/trucking has always been one of the big drawbacks to the oats. And we're not sure that we can consistently grow 100 plus oats. From the numbers I've crunched, we need 90-100 bu oats to compete with 45-50 bu wheat which seems to be fairly regular by now (at least the last 4 years).

Find a corn header? Is your corn past the frost damage part? It looks good from the highway.
