nw mb | I think you are better off to find some local farm with eggs for sale, instead of going 'organic' in the supermarket. I've learned that someone can simply through the words organic on something and jack the price up and people will pay!
We raise chickens free range style. They are on a diet of mostly crushed grain and corn and all the grass they can eat. A whole 20 of em, ussually confined to a small 10x10 barn with a outdoor run of about 250sqft. We ussually give the eggs away to neighbors and family and most people give use 2 dollars even though we refuse to take it. A guy can only eat so many denver sandwiches.
