All of this is in my experience and I'm not an Ag Leader dealer. :)

Do you have an AgFiniti account signed in? If you do, the AgFiniti logo is a first indicator that you have a data problem -- it'll have a red circle with a line through it, if there's no data connectivity. I mention that because it can be important to distinguish between an internet connection problem and an RTK problem.

After you put in the RTK trial code, and then change your selected differential to RTK External, the green satellite icon at the top right is your main indicator that RTK is working properly. If it doesn't have differential (RTK isn't available at all) then the satellite will be yellow; if there is some problem such as being in RTK Float with a large Active Estimated Error, then a warning triangle will appear over the satellite icon.

If you go to the GNSS screen (tap on the satellite icon, top option), you'll be able to see realtime statistics about RTK performance. On the General tab, it'll indicate your Correction Age, which for these purposes could be said to be the number of seconds since the display received a message from the NTRIP server (MN CORS). There will also be an "NTRIP Status" field, that will indicate connected/disconnected. And on the Differential tab, you'll be able to see the Active Estimated Error (i.e., "0.4 in"), Active Differential (should be RTK Fixed), and RTK Convergence (should be a green bullseye).

Also, the BR1 Mini can take several minutes to start up. The status LEDs on my BR1 mini are not convenient for me to look at, so I look at the AgFiniti icon to determine whether internet access is working. Once internet access becomes available, I would expect NTRIP to start operating and the satellite icon to go green within a minute.
