Eastern Kansas | I've not had lamas but I've sold many guard dogs to people who "used" to have lama's. They all thought they worked well but then they either quit working or just met their match. I could not recommend lamas on large acreages with predator problems. Smaller acres and low predator populations they may be okay. Or maybe you will be one of the lucky ones they work good for.
I have never met anyone who had large herds kidding in pastures like cattle, that have lamas.
