nw iowa | Pig bodies are the same once the paperwork is done and the hides come off and are probably all mixed or/and ground together,no matter where they came from.The restaurants Assn,lobbyists,packers,and politicians made sure this bill was weakened to the point it is not effective.It could have been simple like 5 words on a package;born,raised,slaughtered in USA. Kind of like how Iowas Atourney General can't say no to packers owning livestock even tho the PSA laws clearly spell out ,even to a simple,non lawyer, person that they are forbidden to own them.Until this type of stuff is stopped the basic farmer is screwed. | |
