SPDT means Single Pole Double Throw, ie you will have one "circuit", the single pole, and that circuit can be switched either way. Your relay should have Normally Open, Common, Normally Closed, and then two control terminals. To use it "straight", wire your signal leads to the control terminals, power to the common and then your clutch lead to the N O terminal. To reverse, connect clutch to N C.
