| Jim, I have taken a look at the posts about the feedlots and bloat and found it quite interesting. I have never experienced bloat before. Have been buying calves the past two years at my local sale barn and have had excellent results with the fines and calves. Was able to feed out a steer to 1670, but didn't realize he was that big until sale day. I sold him back in Feb. 2007 and he ended up going for 89.25 which was quite astonishing, but that was also a time the markets were really good.
Another all remarks telling what your results have been with these cleanings/fines would be much appreciated.
