I remember when at agschool way back we were told luncheon meat was made here in DK for export markets.
Also remember we had it for supper once at the school so we would know what it was like.
I am not sure it is sold here any more, but we will look for it in the supermarket.
By the way, Ambrose also tells that at the bomber airfield in Italy the servicemen also had Vienna Sausages.
When they at a time had eaten these sausages daily for a whole month somebody put a poster at the door to the ready room saying: We promise to stop bombing Vienna if you stop sending us your sausages!
