Genoa City, WI | Croplan does this, to a degree. They'll tell you which of their genetic families the two parents come from as part of the hybrid description. They'll tell you which hybrids use the same male or female to give you an idea for positioning and diversity. It's right in the seed guide, which is one of the best in the industry. Tons more agronomic information about their hybrids than, say, DeKalb. I have access to some of this same information for NK, although it is not in their seed guide. Syngenta, at least in my experience on the Garst and NK sides, has some of the least informative seed guides. Than again I suppose, how many farmers actually look at the seed catalogs except when the seed salesman is circling hybrids? :) | |
