Iowa | I've had a couple 3162, a 2014 35ft and 2020 40ft. I actually really liked them especially with the slow speed transport. The center drive overlapping sections can be a bit of a pain in the ass to replace but overall I liked the head. Hit a rock and totalled it by bending the main frame. Saw a geringhoff tru flex 40ft for a nice price and bought that mainly because of how good my geringhoff corn heads have been and I like the way it flexes and drives. I wouldn't be scared a if a 3162 with all the updates especially if it has the center airbags. I hate having to drag a trailer around again but I really like the looks of the tru flex. As for reliability I did 1700+ acres of beans one year with one 35ft 3162 so they do work.
