Sounds like you can do the offset you need in software but just for others information on lightbars or gps systems without the ability to do a software offset it works fine to move the antenna to get the offset needed. The gps follows the antenna - it doesnt care what or where it is mounted. If you need a foot offset, move the antenna 6".
