coast of Maine
They are so dumb that they get hypnotized on an action,,have seen several acres of veg plants pulled up,,20 turkeys each on a row, every 16 inches ,peck and pull cabbage plants, then drop and go to the next, cleanly ruined, not rodents when you see them do the conga dance of dozens each on a row,,with zero food results ,just doing it cause they think they should,,crazy stupid birds here,,the avian influenza has knocked them quite a bit and if you have a really wet season the chicks often croak in the tall wet grass here as it is too cold.Nesting here is almost always in taller grass.
