What pressure is the pump running at? You will be lucky to get 3.5 gpm. I always figure 1/2 of rated output as soon at you have some back pressure. Your best bet is to bite the bullet and put a centrifugal pump on and be done fighting flow issues.


I agree I was running the same pump on 16 row 1770 I’d have my controller maxed out and would just be getting by plug thr filter a little and you were cleaning them out all the time. I found a piston ground drive pump for this year.
