Subject: Starter Pump Question

SE NE
Have a Pentair Shurflo 12v 18 Amp pump for my 1720 planter. Trying for 5 gal per acre and not quite getting my rate where I want it. No nozzles in the check valves or Wilger Red ball sights to restrict flow, ending up in Precision furrow jet center opening to shoot the fertilizer straight onto the seed. Running 16 rows plumbed with 3/4 hose till the red balls on 4 sections controlled with the AgLeader incommand. Pump says it has a max of 5.3 gpm but I can only get up to 2.6 gpm max. Tried changing the flow meter calibration on the AgLeader monitor after a couple days through their formula but this seemed to drop my gpm even lower to only about 1.6. Have a field that is lower on the fertility that are putting a pivot up last minute and was hoping to up the rate of 10-34-0 to 8 or so gallons but doesn’t seem my pump can handle that. Am I maxing my pump out or some other problem?
