I prefer 2-1/2 wraps of netwrap to either sisal or plastic twine. I find it is easier and much faster for me to get all of the net wrap off of a bale than it is to get ALL of either twine, especially on bales that are then wrapped in plastic. Some of the twine seems to get buried in the baleage. It is painful for me to watch folks throwing a bale into a TMR, year around, without even trying to take the netwrap off. I don't want to eat plastic nor do I want my cattle eating plastic.
