To your point, I'm sure the area claims records matters a lot. I just looked out of curiosity and last year 80% rp-hpe with 50% 95eco and hail all averaged out for about 50/50 corn and beans was just under $20/ac. So we can add low insurance cost as one more reason the soil on our side of the Missouri costs more.
