northeast ohio | Speaking of grouping. We are using Trimble displays with PIQ. This photo is just 25 acres of a 60 acre field which has 4 waterways (6 in total) of various widths. Today, because I stink at creating complex exclusions, I manually spray the waterway edges first and then all of the straight. During the waterway process, I manually drive and randomly vary the boom width from 2 to 4 active sections which in theory changes the overlap area slightly from application to application. For straight passes, I use the master switch when crossing the waterways. Sometime I am going to get the waterway exclusions mapped. However, I would also like to have guidance lines for each edge.
In this case there would be 12 AB lines associated with waterways. Is there a guidance system that “groups” AB lines so they are all active at once? The system would need to ignore crossing another AB line when the steering is active.
FYI - This is spray map is from a corn year so less straight spraying.
