I was thinking something similar to this as I was reading the OP.
From a poor farmer perspective, land sure seems like a bad investment at current prices.
But it just feels like the "investor class" has made a lot of money post-covid. What's to stop them from continuing to pour cash into farmland to diversify for diversity's sake?
