Yes, that is you.  Your perspective is correct. And I believe many pastors have the same perspective as you do. 

However..... I believe there are some who will "push the envelope". so to speak.... who will cross that line.

If those pastors want to cross that line, they should revoke their non-profit status, and then they can engaged in political rhetoric from the pulpit.  That is perfectly acceptable.
