There is a tax increase at year end as we sit today. I see a very small possibility of Trump tax cut extension. I am pretty sure my JD dealer and local health care provider can sustain wage I creases my local cafe not so much. A recession is necessary at this point but likely is postponed by more govt spending. And the dog chases his tail some more.
The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) of 2017 is set to expire at the end of next year (2025). Probably not a real good chance of it getting extended, R's have squandered any hope of retaining power in the house and likely the senate. Even if the R's retain the house this fall, the house R caucus is so dysfunctional I can't see them agreeing on major tax law. |
