Southeast Colorado
You rich farmers will laugh when I tell you about our area's CRP rates.

Back in 1986.............when CRP started, all of the ground went in at $40/acre. It was a Godsend for local farmers. Fast forward a few decades..............and then after several renewals at the same or less price, they lowered it to $26/acre. Now they've managed to put about another $10 on top of that. But today there are over 100k acres in my county enrolled at $26/acre. 14 bucks less than 38 years ago. I can verify this............because I own some of them!

How's that for inflation??
