Yes, our babysitting rules were pretty strict; no talking on the phone, pay attention to the kids and play with them, check on them after they are in bed frequently, do whatever tasks the parents leave for me to do and be sure the house is clean and neat when the parents come home.
I have a grandbaby now and I am more relaxed in a way. I don't worry abot the dirty dishes my son and DIL leave behind - if I get to them fine and if I don't even better. If I get a chance to vacumn for them - good and if I don't - good. I spend all of my time focused on my grandbaby and I have so much fun!
Since I and my ex husband and my DIL's mother are all willing to help out - they have yet to pay for a babysitter. I think your terms are very reasonable and fair though. | |
