National average yield means nothing without knowing the acres. The higher the number of planted acres the lower the chance of setting a new record yield becomes. So the theory is correct and I could se us setting a 191 but the question would then be on how many acres and how does it effect carryout.
Yes. People often don’t understand that a high to average national yield is the result of a lot of unharvested acres. It’s takes a wet spring or wild weather swings that can be devastating to small portions of the national acres to produce a bin buster. More rain = more storms = more wind, hail, and localized droughts.
