Spread it as fertilizer was one and buying the board to increase acres farmed cause it was so far below cost of production. I can only imagine the ideas for sub 3 dollar corn now.
That is a fallacy.
The corn belt will still get planted, even with $3 corn as it is still more than enough to cover variable costs. For the purpose of idling acres, land is NEVER a variable cost.
