I'm pasturing two 40s in mid Michigan. The bulk of the land can and has been cropped in the past. For the past few years, I've been running 25 to 30 Angus pair on each. They're both split in to four pastures for rotation. I have run 35 to 38 on each 40 in the past. It can be done if it rains enough.
