I use an original crock pot. Dutch oven on top of wood stove with an eye removed. Brown 1/2 lb ground or finely cubed meat (I like bear meat) add onion and celery, sometimes (bell pepper) until saute'd. Add a can of chili beans and a can of diced tomatoes (I like fresh diced tomatoes). Chili powder to taste....James
