Western Oregon | Yeah, I was on Cholesterol meds too long.
I was having left shoulder pain 3 years ago this month, went to ER, they said they saw a shadow, needed to get it checked out. Money grab by the hospital system. Here everything is Salem Hospital, no other clinics or independent doctors anymore. A shot took care of the pain and a round of antibiotics. Went through the whole heart check, they found nothing. It was inflammation in shoulder joint and around my heart. Diet change took care of it. My blood pressure and cholesterol have always been towards the high side but the meds and restrictive special diet were worse than the numbers. My doctor now and the dietician are OK with the numbers. My Mom had and both brothers have diabetes. With diet, I have been able to manage my #'s. I don't take any meds now....James
