| The Raven Smartraxx is not nearly and tranferable as the JD universal or Easysteer. When I had the raven I think? the cost of an additional steering valve and harness to set-up another tractor was $7500 Can. (don't quote me on that just what I kinda remember). I had the raven installed in a JD 7810 and it has sine been replaced by a JD universal kit, couldn't get the Raven to work at 4" accuracy. That was last spring so things might of changed since then. I have never had the ez-steer so I can't compare but I do like the mobility and simplicity of the JD universal, aswell as the ease of set-up to make the unit perform to the level you desire. Took me 20 min and an open field to get mine set to my desired performance for planting. Cost wise the Raven Smartraxx and JD universal are very close in price with easysteer (I believe) Cheaper of the 3. My $0.02 is that the JD univeral was well worth the money for me and my operation.
