If it froze on Aug 19th., Our wheat, canola, flax and oats would have to get burnt, depending on how severe. Fall rye is the only thing that would make it. There are crops in our area were you would need until the middle of Sept. and then some without a frost, to make it. We have a neighbor that needs another week before his barley starts to head out, and has some canola that is just starting to bloom. In any event, its a lot of sleepless nights ahead.
