its always gonna fall back on the pilot. end of story. you'll get the letter in the mail, maybe a phone call, then your fined, won't be able to spray in that state, have to go classes , on an on. I have to stand up for pilots on this. but the guy making the maps has got to know whats all around the field being sprayed. alot of bug work is being put on by pilots from other states. They don't about organic Bob on the other side of Jeffs place in sec 32 se 1/4. so when you take maps in for your stuff and you know organic bob? even though your field is 4 miles away, say somthing to the person takin the maps? Please. That way we can put a "NO-FLY area. Saves everybody in the long run. This is a good topic and i'm glad it got started. I know there are pilots who get alittle quick on the money valve, and some don't blow smoke enough, but there are always going to other factors that we don't know about. Just a small FYI, drift claims were higher in 2008 from ground rigs, than airplanes
