South Central Kansas, Harper County | The corn I had hailed on two weeks ago, looks kind of sick!:-( Big ears on the stalks, but no leaves. It was in the dent stage, so my crop guy said I would still harvest some corn, but there is severe bruising on quite a bit of the ears. Really mushy when you pull back the leaves. Hoping for the best, but hail adjuster was out today and said it was close to 100% damage(wished I would have insured it for more) |
