Subject: RE: Killing Bermuda Grass

Kentucky
What everyone around here does in the yard is to wait until they want to kill the bermuda, spray it 2-3 times (after regrowth) with glyphosate in a section or whole yard, and then reseed in the fall. I sprayed 60 acres one year of coastal type bermuda three times and still had to use LL corn the following year for some stragglers. It was the summer of 1998 during a bad drought. Mowing the stuff was like mowing baling wire.

I like the comment about it making a great road -- 'tis true!
