Smooth Bromegrass is an invasive non native species. It invades everything here including farm ground, pastures, hay fields, road ditches, even your garden. Likely the worst thing that ever was introduced to our range ecology by a human. You will not kill it by grazing it. The feds burn it in the Spring here on WPA ground thinking they can control it but I have my doubts. Feed tests on hay will tell you forage quality and they tell us that after about the 15th of July it is not very good feed.
