All I would add is to use complex passwords and change them twice a year or so. I couldn't manage my passwords on my own so I signed up for a service called NordPass. There are others out there, just do some searching around. They manage all my passwords and it gets auto filled into websites and programs. All my passwords are now super secure random strings of letters, numbers, and symbols. I have one very complex master password that gives me access to my entire vault. It isn't for everyone but I think more people should give it a shot.
Even if you aren't willing to use the password manager, simple two-factor authentication like sending a code to your phone is an excellent layer of defense for your information.
