atrazine carryover will depend on how much rain you get and if you apply it now during the heat, it will be rather short lived i would tend to think. an application of any sort of nitrogen during the heat will be quick to volitalize so try to do it before a rain. broadcasting urea can be done easily with a spinner box, just dont try it on a wet dew or damp morning or the urea will stick more to the damp leaves creating leaf burn.
