They earned your business by backing the product and the damage it caused. I suspect they also earned your loyalty for the next battery you need.
A "one in a million" situation, of the few dozen new batteries I have installed, never once did I think to question if any / all were charged correctly at the factory.
I guess gently touching that last cable to the post to see if it sparks, would be a good practice to detect such an unusual FUBAR. |
