SE PA | A Nice 1089 will do you well. Most of the switches are common ones that you can find at the hardware store. I thnk the auto tranny makes the machine. Not sure what for drivetrain the 1079 has, but the 1089 has an allison and some sort of genesis motor in it. The magnets on the trips will be the biggest problem you would encounter, other than the computer going bad. I think the 1089 is just as good as the new models.
