Northern Indiana		A good machinist can weld it up and machine it back to specs.

There are very few things that can not be repaired like that with the time and proper tools. Renewing a keyway is pretty common practice.

I am not a machinist, but there is a fellow near me can repair it, problem is he is so busy it would be a few weeks for him to get to it.
